Adidas, Fila, Nike and Asics reveal their looks for Wimbledon 2022


Leading tennis apparel companies deliver sophisticated textures, state-of-the-art materials and flattering silhouettes to help Hologic WTA Tour players feel great and perform at their best at the Championships. Marija Zivlak from Women’s Tennis Blog gives us a look at Adidas, Fila, Nike and Asics outfits ready for Wimbledon 2022, courtesy of Tennis Warehouse.

Adidas continues its mission to end plastic waste through a collaboration with Parley for the Oceans. Every garment in the London Tennis Collection is made in part with recycled plastic found in coastal areas, preventing it from reaching the ocean.

Maria Sakkari’s favorite outfit combines the Adidas Parley London Cropped Tank Topa racer-front design with a built-in bra and cross back straps, and the Adidas Parley London Shortsa high waisted silhouette with an elastic waistband and two front pleats.

Both items have subtle Morse code inspired textures in the fabric. Their soft-touch material is equipped with AEROREADY technology that absorbs moisture.

The Adidas Parley London Dressto wear by Elena Rybakina, has an ergonomic Y strap, a yellow stripe on the front neckline and laser cut executions.

The collection is marked with a combined adidas/Parley logo.

Fila athletes, led by Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Krejcikova, will present the latest edition of the White Line collection characterized by classic performance rib insert details and pinstripe lines.

The Fila white line dress has an asymmetrical crossover layer with a ribbed fabric underlay. There is also a ribbed yoke at the neckline.

Regarding splits, players can combine the Fila white line skirt with three main options: Fila White Line Racerback Tank Topwith drop stripe details on the sides, the Fila White Line Full Coverage Tank Top with pinstripe print on the front, body and back; and the Fila White Line Short Sleeve Top featuring shoulder and side panels and a curved hem.

Fila women will wear two models of tennis shoes: either the new Energized Speedserve or the latest white and navy color of the Axile 2 under tension.

According to Asics, World No. 1 Iga Swiatek will wear this simple and elegant ensemble: a round neck top with short sleeves and a slightly pleated skirt.

Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova, Emma Raducanu, Paula Badosa, Sloane Stephens, Belinda Bencic and other NikeCourt reps are set to debut the Nike London collection, highlighted with zippers, pleats and mesh panels.

The Nike London Slam Dress has short sleeves, mesh on the upper chest and back and vertical seams that mimic a corset.

The Nike London Slam Skirt features an elastic waistband, built-in shorts, micro-pleated layers and a curved hem.

The Nike London Slam Tank Top includes standard mesh inserts on the sides and lower back to improve breathability. Two zippers on the shoulders can be left closed or open for additional ventilation.
