CCTV captures Hull woman rummaging in neighbor’s car in broad daylight

It was the moment a woman “stole” things from a car on a street in Hull – and in broad daylight.

The clip was shot at Jervis Road and shows the woman “stealing” items from Roscoe Irvine’s car.

The clip was filmed by Mr. Irvine’s neighbor.

The stolen items were said to be keys, a black Adidas jacket, CDs and the orange Nike football boots of Mr. Irvine’s son.

Posting the clip on Facebook, Mr Irvine wrote: “Does anyone know this woman? She stole items from my car, including my work keys, a black Adidas jacket, CDs and shoes. my son’s orange Nike football shirt.

“I don’t care about anything other than my working keys because they can be replaced.

“If anyone knows this person, please contact us. Jervis Road, Bilton Grange area.”

In addition to wanting to get his keys back, Mr Irvine said he just wanted to raise awareness of “what’s going on in Hull right now rather than picking a name.”

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “Officers are currently investigating reports of theft. Valuable items are believed to have been taken from a vehicle on Jervis Road, Hull, on Sunday June 27 at 6 a.m. morning.”
