Hawks Basketball Academy Kicks Off Summer Community Court Tour Presented By Adidas

ATLANTA – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Academy is hosting a free seven-week tour, which consists of free basketball and fitness activities at existing day camps located at 15 of the Hawks community basketball courts. and State Farm® Good Neighbor Clubs. The Hawks began their summer tour of the community court presented by adidas last week at Lucky Shoals Park in Norcross, Georgia, where nearly 50 young people participated in safe and socially distanced outdoor activities. As part of the experience, more than 750 young participants, boys and girls aged 6 to 16, will be divided into small groups to participate in a special half-day session in a safe, socially remote and outdoor environment. . The program has a strong focus on teaching basketball and fitness fundamentals with an emphasis on maintaining physical activity, character development, and fun.
