Rita Ora Is So Y2K in a sleeveless t-shirt, low rise motorcycle pants and athletic slides

Rita Ora is the latest star to bring back the trends of the early 2000s.

The “Phoenix” singer gave fans a behind-the-scenes look on Instagram during her studio session this week, channeling Y2K trends with her attire. The look started off with a sleeveless Dior top and low-rise leather motorcycle pants, all accessorized with a charm necklace, oversized sunglasses and a silky scarf.

More New Shoes

Scarves, like drop-waist bottoms, are set to be everywhere this season amid a revitalization of retro styles. Spotted decades ago on figures like Hilary Duff, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, and even Aguilera herself, bandanas and hair-tied scarves provide the perfect solution to a bad day while staying on trend this spring.

To complete her look, Ora donned a set of black slide sandals courtesy of Adidas; similar pairs sell for $ 35 on Adidas.com.

Slides are yet another sandal silhouette considered less trendy in the industry, but more stars are including them in their looks this season. Along with a revitalization of traditionally ‘ugly’ sandals like the pairs from Birkenstock and Teva, comfort shoes are quickly becoming fashionable amid the increased appeal of casual trends and comfortable style.

Ora herself is a huge fan of Adidas designs and often frequents the Three Stripes brand’s Ultraboost silhouette for off-duty rides.

Beyond her chart-topping musical career, Ora has also appeared in campaigns for DKNY Fragrances, Roberto Cavalli and Rimmel London, and she is an ambassador for Escada and Thomas Sabo. Most recently, she was one of the few stars to attend Fendi’s Spring / Summer 21 show in person during Milan Fashion Week.

And Ora’s experience with the footwear industry goes beyond street chic. The British musician is a longtime partner of Adidas and collaborated with Giuseppe Zanotti in January 2019 for an exclusive collection of shoes. This year, it also announced a partnership with German shoe retailer Deichmann. And if that wasn’t enough, this month the award-winning singer once again teamed up with ShoeDazzle for a series of spring shoe styles that all sell for under $ 100. Coming with everything from over the knee boots to on-trend utility styles, the pairs can be found at ShoeDazzle.com with price tags to match wallets.
