About Roland-Garros 2022
The French Open, or Roland-Garros, is currently being held for the 126th time in Paris. It is the second Grand Slam event of the year and the only one to be held on clay.
On the men’s side, the event has been dominated by Rafael Nadal in recent history. Widely regarded as the greatest clay-court player of all time, he has won the event 13 times since 2005. Early tomorrow morning for Australian viewers, he will face the only man to beat him multiple times in Paris, Novak Djokovic. Djokovic beat Nadal in the semi-finals of last year’s event and claimed his second French Open crown.
